Breast Augmentation Creams and Supplements

November 6, 2019 - Rhys Branman, MD

Nope, they don’t work. RealSelf.com, the Mayo Clinic and Dr. Susan Love all agree. Let’s take these sources one by one.

Dr. Susan Love reports that consumerlab.com stated, “There is no evidence that any of the current dietary supplements marketed for breast enhancement are effective or that the science they use to support their claims is credible.” Dr. Love has been a reliable source of information about women’s health for decades. She has written extensively on menopause, breast cancer, and other women’s issues. In fact, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation has a marvelous blog called Act With Love to keep you gals informed on women’s health issues, particularly about breast cancer information. Dr. Love claims that the people who advertise these products confuse the public with claims about “phytoestrogens.” Phytoestrogens are plant substances that contain the female sex hormone estrogen. However, not only will they not work on premenopausal women, due to other plant constituents, but if they did, these plant estrogens could increase the risk of breast cancer.

Doctors responding to questions about breast enhancing supplements on RealSelf.com agree with this assessment of possibly increasing the risk of breast cancer. These doctors also remind us that herbal supplements are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration and therefore are not tested, and do not have to be proven to work. Not only that, but most of these herbal supplements, whether in cream or pill form, cost quite a bit of money. I would hate to be paying a fortune for so called “natural breast enhancement” when I could have simply put the money toward surgical breast augmentation which does work.

The Mayo Clinic’s expert concurs that these “natural breast enhancement” supplements do not work. Experts at the Mayo Clinic also add that “Serious drug interactions are possible with any of these herbs.” So although some drugs may have side effects of breast enlargement, the herbs most commonly used in these supplements have not been proven to work.

Don’t waste your money. Breast augmentation at Little Rock Cosmetic Surgery Center will increase your the size of your bust, whereas expensive supplements will not. Come see me, Dr. B, for your consultation.

Unquestionably consider that which you stated. Your favourite reason seemed to be at the web the simplest factor to understand of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while other people consider concerns that they just do not recognise about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and also outlined out the entire thing with no need side effect , other people could take a signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thank you
