What is Sofwave?
Sofwave remodels the skin beneath the surface using Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam technology (SUPERB™) to safely heat the “mid-dermal tissue” of the skin, stimulating your natural collagen production. Sofwave non-surgical skin lifting has been cleared by the FDA as a non-surgical skin lifting solution to lift the eyebrow, submental (double chin), and neck areas, as well as to diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
How does Sofwave non-surgical skin lifting work?
Sofwave stimulates production of new collagen (the protein that keeps skin looking lifted and youthful) by using SUPERB™ technology to pass multiple ultrasound beams through the skin’s surface and heat the dermis layer of skin at a precise depth (1.5mm) and temperature (60-70 degrees). Non-surgical skin lifting causes your natural healing processes to rejuvenate collagen fibers and boost collagen production to soften fine lines and wrinkles and visibly lift the skin.

What is a Sofwave treatment like?
Once we have determined that non-surgical skin lifting will achieve your aesthetic goals, a numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to enhance your comfort during treatment.
During treatment
Your technician will apply ultrasound gel to the treatment area and pass the Sofwave wand over your skin to deliver ultrasound waves to your dermis layer. During your non-surgical skin lifting treatment, you may feel some mild discomfort that quickly resolves as the wand moves away from each area. If needed, we can make adjustments to ensure you are comfortable. Treatment lasts about 30-45 minutes.
After treatment
Once your treatment is complete, we will apply a hydrating serum to soothe any redness, which should resolve about 30 minutes to 2 hours after your appointment.
