Cosmetic Surgery Center Featured on Dateline NBC

Laurie and Adam Grubb's lives were changed forever when they decided to have cosmetic surgery. They never dreamed that they would star in a national TV story and touch the hearts of so many people. But when the Dateline NBC piece aired in October 2004, the whole nation watched as Laurie and Adam experienced the adventure of a lifetime!
The decision to have cosmetic surgery was prompted by the upcoming event of a senior prom. Laurie's daughter, Morgan, was anticipating one of the most exciting events of her life, and she wanted her mom and brother to feel extra special that night too! (Her mom was going to be a chaperone and her brother, Adam, her escort for the Senior Walk.)
Morgan was the "pretty one" of the family…perfect, white teeth, a delicate, shapely nose, and just an overall, beautiful face. At first glance, you might think she wasn't even related to the other family members? Unfortunately, her mom and brother were not so blessed with beauty. They were aesthetically challenged with large, curved noses unbalanced profiles, and mouths full of dark, decayed teeth.
After Laurie and Adam were video imaged, they
knew that cosmetic surgery was in their future! Seeing on
the computer screen what possibilities could be,
they were ready to take the step that would change
their faces and their lives forever!
When Betsy Osha, the Dateline NBC producer, called COSMETIC SURGERY CENTER, in search of a family considering cosmetic surgery to attend an event, we knew we had a "match" for her story. After a nationwide search, Mrs. Osha came back to the little family from Heber Springs, Arkansas, and proceeded to produce a beautiful "Cinderella Story." It was a dream come true for both the Grubbs and Dateline!
They were not disappointed. Dr. Branman and Dr. Devlin came through with flying colors, as they transformed Laurie and Adam, with their stellar surgical skills, into the images that made the computer imaging photos come to life! Yes, miracles do happen!
Laurie was a fairy princess when she appeared at Morgan's senior prom. A new nose, a smooth face, bright eyes and a magnificent, white smile, transformed Laurie into a vision of loveliness, floating on air in her designer gown and bronze slippers!
Likewise was her prince, Adam. Looking quite dashing in his black tuxedo and crisp white shirt, he escorted his mom to the big event. With a gleaming, white smile and perfectly shaped profile, this young man was a sight to behold!
So what next?
Laurie and Morgan have moved to Memphis, Tennessee and Adam is considering going back to college. It seems that their level of confidence has definitely improved, along with a sparkle in their eyes and a spring in their step. Life is good.
